Today’s guest, Dr. Katie Thomson Aitken, is a Naturopathic Doctor who focuses almost exclusively on the management of anxiety. This notion of anxiety is not only something that is completely relevant (considering everything going on in the world right now), but it’s also, in particular, extremely topical within the entrepreneurial population as it is one of the most pervasive symptoms that we encounter! Seriously, it doesn’t matter whether you’re starting your own business, scaling, or thinking about leaving your job; anxiety is something that will impact us to varying degrees at all kinds of different points in our life.
Katie does a seriously fabulous job in today’s episode with breaking down some of the simple things that we can do to reduce anxiety in our lives! She shares how we can maximize our habits so that we get more days spent in a calm state rather than in an anxious one, the five foundational pieces that we can put in place in order to make leaps and bounds in overcoming our anxiety, and also addresses the topic of remedying anxiety with vs. without medication.
If you want to know how anxiety shows up in the body, what causes it, and what we can do as individuals in our own life to have less anxious days — be sure to stay tuned in!

My guest today, Mary Hyatt, is a life and business coach. She helps her clients become awake to their feelings; aware of their thoughts, patterns, and habits; anchored in feeling confident in who they are; and aligned with identifying their voice and desires.
What I loved most about the conversation Mary and I had today were her teachings and insights around how we, as women, can harness the power of our emotions in the work that we do as parents, entrepreneurs, and go-getters in this world. Mary shows through the work that she does that we do not need to numb out, suppress, or deny our emotions in order to work harder, better, or more efficiently. The real power comes from harnessing our emotions and leveraging them in what we do.
In this episode, Mary shares her personal journey with understanding her emotions and the beautiful transformation she experienced once she understood and acknowledged her emotions and how they showed up in her body. She shares how we can tap into our emotional body, how we can understand and recognize the warning signs before getting to a place of burnout, how we can begin to cultivate self-awareness around checking in with ourselves and our emotions, and how we can learn how to become truly present and true to ourselves.
Mary’s words are profound and her insight is incredible. It is truly my pleasure to introduce you all to Mary Hyatt!
Key Takeaways:
[1:08] About today’s episode!
[1:54] Welcoming Mary Hyatt to the podcast!
[2:34] Mary shares her story and how she got to this place in her career.
[8:38] The first steps for taking radical responsibility in your life.
[12:30] What happened to Mary’s physical and emotional manifestations when she started to own where she was at and engage in a pathway that was more empowering to her?
[16:30] The profound shift you can experience both physically, emotionally, mentally, and beyond, when you gain control of managing your mindset and state of emotion. Mary also speaks about science and history behind our emotions being connected to the body.
[19:47] Mary shares why she thinks some people are afraid of experiencing the full spectrum of emotions that we all experience as humans. She also shares how we can begin to expand our emotional vocabulary and become more in tune with it.
[25:02] Mary speaks about how giving people back control and vocabulary over their emotions is a significant part of her work as a life and business coach. She also shares about the direct correlation between burnout and disconnection from emotions that she often sees amongst the female entrepreneurs that she works with.
[27:10] What Mary teaches her clients to help them become more present with themselves, their emotions, and what they need.
[29:15] “Feeling nothing does not mean feeling better.” Your power lies in the acknowledgment of your feelings, not the removal of them.

Experiencing the full spectrum of emotions is part of the human experience. We are more empowered when we can accept and understand our emotions rather than deny them or numb ourselves out. A key tool in taking the first steps to better understanding our emotions is to expand our emotional vocabulary. We are more than just ‘sad,’ ‘happy,’ or ‘mad.’ Mary and I would love for all of you to try and expand your emotional vocabulary by spending time reflecting on the nuances of the emotions you feel throughout your day and journaling them down. Take the time to identify their complexities and acknowledge their existence. And be sure to let us know how this exercise goes for you by following up with us on The Entrepology Collective — because when you’re accountable, you’re helpable!
The story of my guest today is so compelling and such a beautiful example of how our bodies have the capacity to not only heal physically but heal us on an emotional level as well.
When Amanda Campbell was in her 20s, she had found herself in a hospital bed nearly crippled with multiple sclerosis. Having arrived at that state, she recognized that she had spent the few years previous in denial of her symptoms and the messages that were coming through her body.
In this episode, Amanda shares with us the shift in mindset that she had and how she got there, how to access your resilience (regardless of facing adversity), and how she’s been able to leverage these two pieces (mindset plus resilience) in moving forward to build a successful business and help other people overcome difficult situations to live their lives on their terms.
It was truly a pleasure having this conversation and I cannot wait for you all to learn more about resilience, how a flexible mindset impacts everything that matters (from our body’s ability to repair to how happy and resilient we are to how connected we feel), and how we can live a balanced life that allows for incredible health and growth both physically and mentally.
Key Takeaways:
[1:30] About today’s episode.
[2:35] Welcoming Amanda Campbell to the podcast!
[3:05] Amanda shares her beautiful story and the compelling turn of events with her health and the work that she is now doing in the world.
[14:29] Amanda speaks about what shifted in her beliefs as a result of what she went through.
[16:48] The evolution of how Amanda has come to view the role of her body as a communicator and partner in the work that she does in this world. She also speaks about the evolution of her mindset and the respect she has for her body.
[19:39] How the concept of resilience has penetrated the work that Amanda does when she’s helping other people with respect to their health.
[21:16] Amanda shares her formula for resilience.
[24:25] Is it possible for us to develop resilience and to refine the skills of resilience without necessarily facing adversity?
[26:30] How do we, as parents, instill resilience in our children without putting them through trauma? Is resilience a gift to those who have gone through adversity? How do we make it accessible?
[28:44] How going through adversity has impacted Amanda as a business person as well as accelerate her growth and the work that she’s currently doing in the world.
[31:20] What does Amanda do for self-care now so that she stays mindful of health?
[35:22] When Amanda is working with a client that is going through both physical and emotional ailments, where does she start? Is it always the same place? Or does she prioritize one over the other?

More About Amanda Campbell
As the founder of Bend Like Bamboo, Amanda is one of Australia’s leading experts on resilience, running a leadership program with quarterly exposure to some of the fresh thinking and novel insights into the world of resilience.
Amanda believes that flexibility builds resilience. Overcoming adversity, Amanda discovered that a flexible mindset impacts everything that matters — our body’s ability to repair, how happy and resilient we are, and how connected we feel.
“How we think and feel and believe is a mirror image of how we perceive our environment, how we will show up when tested, and the health of our body.” — Amanda Campbell
With a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis at age 24 and a paralysis at just 29 years old, Amanda was faced with never walking again. She was stretched to her limit, emotionally and physically. With no choice but to succeed and the odds stacked against her, Amanda had to change her mind about what could be possible to create new results.
Embracing a balanced approach, Amanda had to embrace uncertainty and change to discover what she was made of. Learning how to walk and run again led to her transforming her mind, body, and life. Now a decade on, Amanda’s passion is to inspire others to embrace their obstacles as an opportunity to awaken their potential whilst maximizing health.
Amanda truly believes when given the right environment, the mind and body are capable of producing incredible results. Amanda founded her private practice Bend Like Bamboo in 2013. EDITORIAL AMENDMENT: at 4:28, Meghan refer's to Dr. Michelle Presniak as a Brain Expert. While Dr. Presniak has a high degree of experience in this area, regulatory considerations in Ontario prohibit the use of the term expert. We apologize for any confusion this may have created
As many of you know, one of the key things that I focused on in my own clinical practice was the health of entrepreneurs and go-getters. In addressing their health, we first worked on restoring pre-existing issues; next, we focused on health optimization; then, we ultimately focused on optimizing the functionality of one’s brain. And while we had a tremendous assortment of tools at our disposal in order to make that happen, my guest today is discussing one that I had ZERO exposure to in my own practice!
Dr. Michelle Presniak is a Clinical Psychologist. Her particular focus is around the utilization of neurofeedback to help individuals move to their next level with respect to their brain health. She works with individuals who are managing depression and anxiety, as well as those who are looking to optimize their brain health by providing them with the feedback that they need to begin moving the neuroplasticity of their brain to get them to that next level.
Now, if this sounds like something you really have no clue about… then that makes you and me both! This interview answered so many questions for me regarding what neurofeedback is able to provide and how it can help in so many unique scenarios. I learned about how we can move the needle on brain health, anxiety and depression, and more.
Whether you are looking to manage a situation or simply optimize the health of your own brain, I promise you, this conversation is going to be a compelling one for you!
Key Takeaways:
[1:55] About today’s episode with Dr. Michelle Presniak!
[3:55] Welcoming Dr. Presniak to the podcast!
[4:37] Michelle shares about her background as a Clinical Psychologist and why she has focused so heavily on brain health optimization and neurofeedback.
[8:40] What is neurofeedback? How does it work? And what does the process of obtaining neurofeedback from clients look like?
[12:38] When Dr. Presniak is using neurofeedback and working with patients who have experienced trauma, are they trying to build our new neural pathways, or are they trying to disconnect some of the associations they had with their trauma? Or is it something else entirely?
[14:11] How neurofeedback actually works from a physiological and anatomical level to facilitate changes within a patient’s brain.
[16:02] When Dr. Presniak is working with a client and has the opportunity to do neurofeedback, is she looking at a situation where she would be able to accelerate what could happen with talk therapy alone (i.e. they are working in conjunction with each other)? Or, is the neurofeedback used as a completely independent modality?
[18:00] For those with anxiety or depression, what can one expect in terms of a timeline of change? Or, is it a kind of treatment or support that one can expect to be engaged with indefinitely or for a long period of time?
[21:09] If children are given neurofeedback early in life, are they able to adapt much quicker than adults? What does this impact look like? How does it differ from the results they see with adults?
[22:25] Michelle shares her own journey and experience with neurofeedback and how it has helped her.
[24:24] In regard to this notion of increasing performance through neurofeedback, is it a matter of having more awareness and changing your behavior in response to your brain’s overactivity? Or, is it because you’ve increased the capacity of the brain in some way?
[26:21] How neurofeedback gives us more awareness around the subconscious learning our brains do.
[27:40] What happens for those who have a nondescript experience such as brain fog? Is it something people have reported changes on?
[30:07] Michelle explains how everything is connected to the brain and further addresses the causes behind brain fog.
[32:24] Michelle speaks about a common profile she often sees among women: the burnt-out brain profile.
[33:45] Your brain’s influence on sleep.
[35:49] Has Dr. Presniak seen an influence on chronic pain through neurofeedback?
[39:12] Michelle speaks about the initial assessment process when a client begins neurofeedback and the client’s overall experience getting neurofeedback.
[40:44] Discussing the profound impact that neurofeedback has on people.
[43:40] About Fullscript, your solution for connecting with patients and dispensing supplements, all from one platform!
[44:57] Michelle’s key performance indicators!

What was your key takeaway from today’s episode? How do you want to optimize your brain health? Follow up with us on The Entrepology Collective — because when you’re accountable, you’re helpable!
This episode was really fun to record because I had the opportunity to interview a good friend of mine, Dr. Robyn Murphy! What we unpacked in this episode is, what I really believe, is going to be the new frontier of health and medicine.
This new frontier I’m talking about is this idea of ‘precision medicine’ and individualized medicine. When I first started my career, that meant that we listened to the individualized stories, symptoms, and experiences of our patients to craft a unique approach to their health. Nowadays, however, this idea of individualized care and precision medicine means that we’re able to look at the blueprint of your health; your actual DNA, to be able to understand how we can craft something that not only incorporates your life stories but enables us to address your health in a manner we never thought was possible.
Dr. Robin Murphy is truly an expert at dissecting the intersection between genetics and lifestyle medicine. As the Scientific Advisor for DNA Labs — a Toronto-based genetic company that does lifestyle genetic testing as well as pharmacogenetic testing — there is no better guest than Dr. Murphy to discuss this concept of individualized care and unpack how it is going to directly impact the lives of our patients.
Key Takeaways:

[11:18] Why learning about these lifestyle genetics is so empowering in terms of taking control of your health.
[12:18] Robyn highlights the categories of genetic markers that are most commonly examined.
[14:27] Why it’s so crucial to work with a strategist to be able to dissect this information. Robyn shares how she clinically leverages this data to build out a unique lifestyle prescription for patients.
[17:38] When prescribing a patient a diet or lifestyle that is based on their genes, are they expected to adhere to it for the rest of their life?
[19:44] Robyn explains what epigenetics is all about!
[23:42] Robyn speaks about some of the research around the genetic understanding of mental health.

Now is a more relevant time than ever to hone your sales skills and really bring out your authentic self while we are all stuck in quarantine.
My guest today is Nikki Rausch. She is a Sales Expert and the CEO of Sales Maven, where she helps entrepreneurs apply authentic selling tactics that don’t feel out-of-character to you and your business. Nikki also uses Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to help her clients improve their business (and personal) relationships by better understanding the interaction between the brain and the body.
This episode is a call out to anyone who has ever struggled with sales or ‘selling’ their products or services. Do you avoid it at all costs or think it’s sleazy? Well, Nikki helps frame the narrative so that you don’t feel like you’re going against the grain. We have an amazing conversation about how to create a sales strategy that works with people and helps people, not pesters them or tries to aggressively force them into buying your product.
Key Takeaways:
[1:20] About today’s episode and guest!
[2:05] Welcoming Nikki Rausch to the podcast!
[2:55] Nikki shares a bit about her sales background.
[4:25] Despite being in sales, Nikki is an introvert!
[6:20] How do men vs. women sell differently?
[10:00] We have to be conscious in attracting our ideal clients and the only way we can do that is by putting ourselves out there.
[11:25] How can we better repel the clients we don’t want without feeling guilty about it?
[14:25] If you’re putting up roadblocks on people who want to hire you, that can really turn a potential and good client away.
[20:40] Selling isn’t about convincing people. It’s about understanding what’s the problem, the need, and the wants.
[22:15] Handing out your business card is not selling!
[26:55] Just because someone says no, it just means ‘not yet’. You’re not a bad person or that you have poor service offerings.
[32:35] How does Nikki organize her prospects?
[36:15] What are some of the common mistakes people make when trying to sell?
[39:45] Make your email blasts more personal. Write as if you’re writing to a person.
[40:45] Niikki answers some rapid fire questions!

Sales doesn’t have to be so scary! If you can hone in on just these three things, 1. What is the problem? 2. What is the need? 3. What is the want/desired outcome? You will be light years ahead of any aggressive salesman. Selling is something you do with someone to find out if you two are a right fit. It works both ways! If you haven’t been following along for the past few episodes, then you might not know that you’re just catching the tail-end of a three-part mini-series all about mindset! So, if you haven’t already, I highly recommend you check out the two previous episodes that cover overcoming overwhelm and letting go of the limitations that are holding us back.
Today’s final episode in our mini-series is all about purpose — and not just from the lens that it is usually looked at. We’re actually going to be unpacking this concept of purpose from an entirely different perspective — one where it reveals itself to actually be the secret sauce to longevity, recovery, and good health!
In this episode, I’m going to be sharing with you the criteria that make up a strong purpose, the framework for not only discovering your purpose but also monetizing it, and the four Ps that need to be in place for you to begin your pursuit of purpose!
Key Takeaways:
[1:02] About today’s episode!
[2:30] What I’ve observed around purpose.
[4:28] What I want to talk about today: the difference between a purpose that is thrust upon you and a purpose that comes from within.
[5:15] What I mean when I talk about purpose and the Venn diagram that makes up the golden nugget of purpose.
[11:05] Sharing some examples from those who have run through this framework to discover their purpose and monetize it.
[13:50] Here’s what’s so cool about this notion of purpose: longevity and good health!
[16:16] The prerequisites that need to be in place in your life in order to start to pursue your purpose.
[19:04] Addressing kids in your relationship with purpose.
[20:01] A few of the other things that need to be in place for our pursuit of purpose: the four Ps of purpose.
[23:00] An exercise I do every day to continue working towards my purpose.
[23:55] The gift we’re given during this pandemic: time for contemplation and creating space in unlocking what our purpose is.

CALL TO ACTION
My call to action for you all today is to participate in the Venn diagram exercise to discover your purpose at timestamp 5:15-11:05. And remember, before you can do this exercise you have to have the four Ps in place: permission, personal, place, and priority. If you need a refresher, tune in from 20:00-23:00! Let us know how it goes by following up with us on The Entrepology Collective — because when you’re accountable, you’re helpable!
Continuing our mini mindset series, I want to focus on the all-important and extremely relevant topic that is ‘overwhelm.’ As soon as we went into lockdown, a lot of us thought we would have more time to begin working overtime. But for many of us, that idea soon came crashing down just days or weeks later. We may have had the best of intentions going into it all, but now things are beginning to spiral out of control with too many goals and projects to balance.
So on this theme of overwhelm, what I really want to talk about today are some of the key strategies we can implement to manage it. I’ll be sharing some of the strategies that I use in order to keep myself on track, strategies that many of my mindset students use to keep themselves on track, as well as some of the strategies that entrepreneurs that I look up to are using. I also address the question of when to know when to hire someone to help (or when you should begin to hand off some tasks!)
Key Takeaways:
[:57] About today’s episode!
[1:56] About our newest product launch from Clinician Business Labs: the Virtual Practice Tool Kit.
[4:03] What I want to address today and why the topic is so critical to consider right now.
[4:43] The first important note: everyone has different tactics when it comes to combatting overwhelm.
[5:31] The first step I take when I catch myself in a state of overwhelm.
[6:47] What I would like you to keep in mind as you listen to this episode.
[7:43] The first few key questions you should be asking yourself when it comes to overwhelm and your business.
[10:06] The first key question: What is the outcome you’re trying to achieve?
[11:40] The second key question: What timeline are we using for this execution?
[12:40] The third key question: What action do you need to take related to this project or outcome?
[13:39] The fourth question you really need to have clarity around: What order do you need to do all of these pieces in?
[15:18] An additional question you could ask yourself: Is there a way to make it easier?
[16:29] What to do once you know your answers to all of these questions.
[17:27] Key strategies that can help with the overall execution of your project or goals.
[19:48] What my most successful and productive days look like.
[24:05] How to begin taking action today with the Entrepology Time System and how to know when you should be delegating certain tasks to others.

“What outcome are you after? What timeline does it have to be executed upon? What action do you need to take? What order does this project need to be initiated in? What tasks can you hand off? And is there a way to make it easier?” These are all of the key questions I want you to be asking yourself following today’s episode to eliminate your overwhelm! It’s been a while since I’ve last sat down to do a solo episode! And I don’t know about you, but the world has been a little bit of a crazy place lately!
So, what I want to do for today’s episode is to explore some of the key elements that are rising to the surface to me right now. This episode will be the first in a miniseries of three episodes where I explore some key ideas around mindset.
In this episode, in particular, we’re going to be taking a look at this notion of fighting for limitations. I’m going to be sharing what I’ve personally observed around this as well as how to really triage whether or not we’re stuck in a state of standing up for what we are wanting out of life or… if we’re actually caught in a state of paralysis. Ultimately, I want to help you enable a reorientation of the options that are available to you right now — both personally and for your business!
Key Takeaways:
[:40] About today’s solo episode (the first in a three-part series)!
[2:41] What we’ll be talking about in the future episodes of this mini mindset series.
[4:13] Unpacking this idea of ‘fighting for limitations’ and the few camps of people I’ve observed in the last several weeks.
[5:55] The interesting transition I’ve seen when it comes to people’s businesses.
[7:06] What happens when we fight for our limitations and what I mean by “work in this world that is of service.”
[8:30] How I know if my work is ‘working’ for me.
[9:38] The three criteria to know your business is working for you.
[10:38] The two questions I want you to ask right now about your business.
[12:00] A third question you could ask about your business to carry on with the work that you’re doing.
[12:28] Are you fighting for your limitations? Here’s how to know.
[13:47] Where we are right now and where we need to go.
[15:13] If this idea is resonating with you, here’s what I am encouraging you to do.

Two years ago, someone asked me what supplements I take to maintain my health, energy, and edge — and they were surprised that I only took four things consistently. For myself and my patients, there are four basics that support — at a foundational level — nearly every system in our bodies. In my quest for the highest quality ingredients and the easiest system for consistently incorporating supplementation to my routine, I formulated and manufactured my own line of foundational supplements. Trusted for myself and my patients, and under the guidance of your own healthcare provider, I’m excited to invite you to check out our foundational product line: Badass Basics. There are three key elements that entrepreneurs really need to look at in order to up level their brand: authenticity, visibility, and consistency. If you can assess your own brand and look at these three things, you’re off to a really good start! Ask yourself: ‘Am I consistent in the tone, feel, and language of my brand? Am I authentic in my message? Does it really truly represent who I am? Am I showing up consistently? Am I showing up online? Can people see me?’ Take some time to answer questions around these three key elements and let us know your answers! What are you doing well? And what do you need to improve upon? More About Chris Smith
Chris is a fifth-generation AZ native. He was raised in a ranching-rodeo family and still competes in rodeos across the Southwest. His wife is his hero and his kids are his best friends.
Chris has always been fascinated with storytelling and influencing people his entire life. He started using storytelling to his advantage professionally in 2004 when he began a real estate career. Not long after that, he began in commercial real estate. That was when he had a HUGE realization. He realized that his success had more to do with his ability to listen, serve, and tell the story of who he was than it did with his knowledge about the industry or our service. Quickly, he became one of the top producers in the office and knew very little about what they did. This fascinated him to no end!
Long story short, Chris has had a few lifetimes of careers — everything from selling products and services to ideas and dreams. Along his journey, he has always succeeded by listening, serving and telling the story of who he was, not what he did. Somewhere along that journey, he had the most powerful realization of all — which can be summed up by his favorite quote by Mark Twain: “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” He then found out why he was put on this earth; to help others get clear on what their brand stands for, the stories they should be telling, and how to build a culture people can connect with.
That is when he started kCross and their proprietary methodology: ‘The Campfire Effect.’
Chris has had the privilege of working with startups, small businesses, and emerging high-tech growth businesses, as well as Fortune 500 companies. He believes that if organizations were more intentional about what their brand stood for and could communicate that story with clarity, the impact and influence they would have on the world would be unstoppable.
Through kCross, Chris is spreading the Campfire Effect to organizations throughout the world!

I was joined by Corey Deacon, the co-founder and Medical Director of Neurvana Health, a clinic in Calgary that focuses on brain health and something called Quantitative EEG (qEEG). Now, Corey’s credentials are exhaustive! He has a Doctorate in Natural Medicine, he’s a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, and he’s a member of The Examining Board of Natural Medicine Practitioners Canada™.
Corey has extensive experience exploring how lifestyle has an effect on brain health. And not just brain health as it pertains to concussions or trauma, but as it pertains to anxiety, depression, ADD, and some of the more functional disorders that are quite frankly systemic in our population.
In this episode, Corey and I went deep into the science — we seriously geeked out on some of the things that you should be looking at in your own lifestyle, how you can start to make shifts on a daily basis, and the top three things that we are both seeing affecting people in a chronic way — and they are definitely not what you’d expect!
If you are interested in understanding how your brain can serve you at its highest potential and how you can preserve your brain activity very long into life, then this episode is designed especially for you!

Last week on the podcast I had the privilege of bringing on one of my closest friends and colleagues, Dr. Erin Wiley. In that episode, we shared that I’m going to be making some really significant transitions in my career which involve me stepping down permanently from private practice and working one-on-one with patients.
Throughout the last year, I’ve really taken the time to gain some perspective on how I want to spend my time and energy moving forward. And the one thing that I have always made a promise about is that no matter what I do with my career, I am more committed to the mission at hand than the model through which I serve that mission.
With that being said, I’m excited to be bringing you a solo episode this week to share all that I’ve learned in this transition and what I will be doing with my time, going forward. And, if you’re an entrepreneur looking to make some significant shifts in your own business or life, I also recommend tuning in to learn more about the process itself and how to go about such a huge, life-changing transition.
Key Takeaways:
[:20] About today’s solo episode.
[1:45] My ultimate mission with the work that I do.
[4:18] What I’ve been struggling with regarding my practice.
[6:09] My turning point for realizing that I needed to step down from my practice.
[10:32] Why I waited until now to make this transition.
[11:42] Why I am incredibly confident in Dr. Erin Wiley to take over my practice.
[13:33] What I’m going to start to do with my time going forward.
[15:15] Giving my thanks to all of you!
[16:31] My limiting beliefs around stepping away from my practice and how I overcame them.
[17:41] What these last five months have been like… and what I promise you moving forward.
[18:01] What I wish for all of you listening.
[18:19] Thanks for listening and I’ll see you next week!

It is truly my pleasure to introduce you to my guest today, Dr. Erin Wiley! Dr. Wiley is not only a Naturopathic Doctor, but she is also the person that I co-founded the Integrative Health Institute with back in 2008. And while I moved on from IHI, Erin blossomed that practice into a space that houses over twenty-five practitioners. And what Erin caters to, with a level of excellence that I have seen unparalleled in our industry, is working with entrepreneurs and go-getters.
I’m so excited to have Erin joining me today so that we can start to unpack some of her methodologies for working with this population. Erin loves working with entrepreneurs and go-getters and she describes her unique area of practice as “...helping them to see their health goals as being in line with their business goals.” Erin often hears from people that they feel their health is in conflict with their work and they’ve already made too many sacrifices. However, shifting your mindset to understand that your health is actually your powerplay for your business is actually the most critical tool in advancing your career!
And, when you stick with us until the end of the podcast, we’re making a MASSIVE announcement! This is something you definitely do not want to miss.

More About Dr. Erin Wiley
Dr. Erin Wiley understands that you are on a mission, leading an industry, defining culture, and making our world a better place. You have goals for your life that include success, freedom, creativity, and adventure. You are giving “your all” to realize your goals and your health is your greatest resource for achieving them.
Health is not the price you need to pay for your success. You can “lean in” to your work without sacrificing your well-being.
Dr. Erin Wiley is your smart medicine strategist. She operates from a medical system that values function and performance. A system that is not limited when “test results are normal” but you are still suffering. A system that asks bigger questions about your personal vision for your health and does not assume your level of commitment.
She won’t tell you to quit your job or ask you to cook every meal from scratch, but she will help you to get real about aligning your health goals with your life goals. Abundant energy, amazing relationships, and big life adventures are the fuel that will help you leave your mark on the world without leaving your health behind.

I feel like we hear a lot about the word ‘intention,’ especially as we get into the new year. Everyone’s talking resolutions and then the evolution of the resolution and the intentions behind that… But honestly, it’s all just vernacular until you actually put it into practice.
My guest today, Adrienne Enns, is an author and the Chief Joy Curator at May You Know Joy. Her area of expertise and her passion in life is helping individuals actually live a life filled with intention. It doesn’t matter how busy you are, how many kids you have, or how many companies you are running, being able to walk into any given moment with a level of intentionality doesn’t take time — it simply takes practice. And this is what Adrienne’s mission in life is all about; to teach us how to engage in any given moment with intentionality as we move toward being able to live a life of joy!
In today’s episode, we talk about the concept of living in the moment, how to bring your day-to-day intentions and big-picture intentions together, how to build a routine to help you get into a state of living with intentionality, and some of the key steps to take when you’re trying to reconnect with your purpose and live with more intention. More About Dr. Jordin Wiggins
Dr. Jordin Wiggins is a Naturopathic Doctor, entrepreneur, women’s sexual health disruptor, and author. She is revolutionizing the way we deliver, educate, and talk about sexual health, wellness, and pleasure for women.
Dr. Wiggins owns and operates Health Over All, the Premier Naturopathic Wellness Clinic for Women in the Niagara Region, Ontario. She has an interest in hormone and mood imbalance, libido, biomarker testing, and providing individualized health care so that her patients see results and are empowered to take control of their own journey to optimal health.
Dr. Wiggins is the chief educator for The Pleasure Collective, a coaching community and sexual health and wellness re-education program for women. She is setting a higher standard for women’s sexual health, using pleasure as the way back to wellness and outstanding health, not another pill.
As the author of The Pink Canary (set for release in Fall 2019), Dr. Wiggins explores the hidden secret to optimal women’s wellness along with the research to support it and real-life actions you can start right now to welcome pleasure back into your life.

BADASS FUEL — Fuel for Badass Women
Scientifically Supported Ingredients | Support, Not Replacement | Non-GMO
Two years ago, someone asked me what supplements I take to maintain my health, energy, and edge — and they were surprised that I only took four things consistently. For myself and my patients, there are four basics that support — at a foundational level — nearly every system in our bodies. In my quest for the highest quality ingredients and the easiest system for consistently incorporating supplementation to my routine, I formulated and manufactured my own line of foundational supplements. Trusted for myself and my patients, and under the guidance of your own healthcare provider, I’m excited to invite you to check out our foundational product line: Badass Basics. Learn more or order the products yourself by visiting BadassFuel.com!
CALL TO ACTION
Let’s move this conversation forward! I want us to keep talking about what it means to have pleasure in your life. This is one of those topics that I find we so rarely discuss as women. So what I want to know from you this week is on a most fundamental level, what needs to be in place for you to have pleasure in your life? And follow up on The Entrepology Collective — because when you’re accountable, you’re helpable!
