Today I am taking you through a framework that I have been working on for the better part of the last five years. This framework encompasses and represents what Entrepology truly is all about — the investigation and study of what it takes to be a high-performing entrepreneur — where I’ve found that the confluence for this existing is in understanding and breaking apart the mindset of what drives people to create, their capacity to take risks, their health, and of course their inherent entrepreneurial skills that bring it all together.

What I am taking you all through today is a list of eight categories of things that, together, encompass the “Entrepology Life System” (or ELS for short). All of these pieces are important considerations that we need to be aware of and have in balance that will help enable us to live a successful, fulfilling life.

Key Takeaways:

[:42] About today’s solo episode about the “Entrepology Life System.”

[4:38] About my upcoming 5:00 a.m. project and how it ties into this conversation.

[5:20] I’m interested in hearing from you! Let me know your thoughts on these eight categories or if you think there are more categories to add over on my Instagram @DrMeghanWalker!

[5:40] Element #1: Knowing your purpose or having a sense of purpose.

[9:00] Element #2: Having clarity around understanding the impact that you want to have in the world.

[10:17] Element #3: Income, finances, and time.

[12:56] Element #4: What are you doing to tend to your growth?

[14:58] Element #5: Making space for your relationships.

[18:09] Element #6: What experiences do you want to have in your life?

[20:28] Element #7: Your health.

[22:48] Element #8: Your legacy (financially, intergenerationally, and your intellectual property).

[26:45] Summarizing the eight elements of the ELS.

[27:40] More about my upcoming 5:00 a.m. project (the Entrepology Planner) and how to stay up-to-date on it!

Description:

Today I am joined by an incredible naturopathic doctor, Lori Bouchard! Lori has dedicated most of her career over the last 12 years to working with patients with cancer. Lori truly has an incredible approach and holistic capacity to look at health in the face of a disease that is going to touch all of us in some capacity throughout our lives.

In this episode, Lori shares how to live your best life with cancer, what you can do today to take measures toward preventing cancer (especially if it runs in your family), how she helps her patients co-exist and thrive alongside cancer, her philosophy around taking an integrative approach with the management of cancer, and how epigenetics play a massive role in this entire conversation.

CALL TO ACTION

My underlying core belief in life and all that I do as an entrepreneur is that when people have their health, they can change the world.

The conversation that we had today with Dr. Lori Bouchard was incredibly enlightening and important. What were your key takeaways from this episode? Let us know over on my Instagram @DrMeghanWalker!

Tweetables:

“Your destiny [isn’t cancer.] There are so many things that you can do to take a hold of how the environment is playing a role in turning [certain] genes on and off.” — Lori Bouchard

“[Cancer] is 5-10% genetic ... but then really 90% of it is the epigenetic part to the story – what we choose to eat every day, what toxicities we are around, even the people that we hang out with. If we are around really toxic, negative people, that is just as bad for our health vs someone who eats Big Macs every day.” — Lori Bouchard

“We all have cancer cells. That’s the reality of it. … So we have to look at how our immune system is focusing and getting rid of these abnormal cells every single day.” — Lori Bouchard

“[My] mission [is] to help people realize our [bodies are] phenomenal and amazing. My purpose is really spreading that message and helping people realize how powerful they are.” — Lori Bouchard

Today we are talking about one of my most favorite things to discuss how to be an audacious woman! One of the key qualities that I’ve noticed that distinguish entrepreneurs who are absolutely killing it from those who say they’ve “already tried everything” is the willingness to step outside the norm, a willingness to be uncomfortable, and the ability to take bold risks.

My guest today, Chana Ross, is someone whom I deeply respect for her audaciousness, risk-taking personality, and level-headedness. She is definitely no stranger to making bold decisions, stepping into discomfort, and saying, “Hell yes!” when an opportunity comes her way. She is a pelvic health physiotherapist, clinic owner, business coach, podcast host, mother of four, and a pioneer of the virtual practice space.

In this episode, we unpack every aspect of what it takes to be an audacious woman. Chana shares her personal story and career journey, how to know when it is the right time to make an uncomfortable choice, how to live life on your own terms, how to become more decisive and trust yourself, and the key pieces you need to put in place to become more confident, bold, and audacious!

Key Takeaways:

[1:12] About today’s episode with Chana Ross.

[2:34] Welcome Chana Ross to the podcast!

[3:30] Chana shares her story and career journey.

[8:00] Chana shares her advice on how to know when it’s the right time to make an uncomfortable choice vs. the wrong time.

[11:25] Would Chana say that she is a good decision maker?

[11:57] What informs Chana’s ability to make quick decisions?

[13:00] Where did Chana learn the ability to self-authorize to become more decisive?

[14:58] What is audacious behavior? What does it mean to be audacious?

[16:51] If men choose to live life on their own terms, are they being audacious?

[17:17] Why audaciousness is such an invaluable quality.

[19:51] Chana shares about her audacious role models.

[21:58] You can’t do everything and that’s okay!
