It is difficult to be a badass business person rocking it in the real world if you don’t get to sleep at night. And while my issues throughout the course of the night are caused by three small people who like to come and visit me, not everyone has the natural gift of being able to sleep anytime, anywhere. I can fall asleep at a moment’s notice when I don’t have people crawling on me, but I recognize that this may not be the case for everyone…
My guest today, Christine Hansen, is an expert at getting people to sleep. She is the founder of the business Sleep Like A Boss and she works with busy people and entrepreneurs to help them be able to achieve sleep, restoration, rebuilding — and all the things that happen when you finally get to that special place.
In this episode, Christine and I got totally real on some of the very specific things you need to do to actually get a good night’s sleep. We talk about how much you should be sleeping, whether you should — or should not — be using sleep apps, what you should be feeling in the morning to know you actually had a successful night’s sleep, and some of the important tests and assessments that Christine goes through in her own practice when working with clients to find out what the cause of their sleep dysfunctions may happen to be.

CALL TO ACTION
One of the best things you can do for repairing your body (otherwise known as anti-aging) is go-the-heck to sleep! So what I’m going to ask of you today is simple: make a note of going to sleep at a time that would allow you to get a full night’s rest with the proper amount of sleep you need for your body and mind to feel right. Then, challenge yourself to do this for a week, then a month, and so on. There’s nothing more simple than getting the right amount of sleep for your health! And remember to follow-up with us on The Entrepology Podcast Facebook page — because when you are accountable, you are helpable.
