I was really excited to sit down with our guest today, Dr. Andrea Maxim. She’s an entrepreneur, naturopathic doctor, and unapologetically interested in driving her entrepreneurial spirit and finding ways to have a massive impact on her profession.

In this episode, I was lucky enough to get her take on a few things: the trends she has been seeing within entrepreneurialism, where she thinks we should be investing our time and energy as we move into 2018, and the common elements that she has seen — both in her journey as well as her clients — in terms of successful outcomes.

This is a great interview because it’s that balance between business through the lens of someone who’s in healthcare — who understands the need to have boundaries and limitations in terms of how far we push. We also talk about what it means to really be an overnight success and the 10 years of work it takes to get to that place. This is an interview for people who are interested in understanding how you can become passionate about looking for a career in helping others and the type of hustle and strategy and self-investment that goes along with it.

Key Takeaways:
