Today we are talking with Amie Valpone, an author and health advocate from New York City. Amie hosts all of her ideas on thehealthyapple.com and is the best-selling author of Eating Clean: The 21 Day Plan to Detox, Fight Inflammation, and Reset Your Body. Amie had a health crisis in her own life, and when conventional medicine was not able to find solutions for her, she went looking for something different. She was on a quest, and eventually she became an evangelist. In this episode we talk about mold, Lyme disease, endocrine disorders and truly re-discovering health. Amie talks about being outside of her body; living a corporate lifestyle where she pushed and pushed, and then finally understanding what it meant to feel what was inside of her. Amie is a beautiful example of taking what is handed to you and turning it into something absolutely incredible. This interview was enlightening for me, and I hope it will be for you as well.
